District Manager Belgium (incl Shop in Shops) Sports Lifestyle Brand
Who we are:
A sports lifestyle brand and can be found all over the world. We are responsible for the design of the European collection, sourcing of the collection in the Far East and sales throughout Europe, partly through wholly owned subsidiaries and partly through distributors. The company is headquartered in the Netherlands and we also have a Belgian office/showroom.
We're looking for a new District Manager for our Belgium Stores, including our Shop in Shops.
Act as an active leader and liaison officer between the stores and the head office, such that:
â¢The head office is provided with the relevant information of the store and vice versa;
â¢Together with HQ the retail strategy is defined and correctly translated into practice to stores;
â¢The procedures, guidelines and strategy are implemented correctly;
â¢Stores are represented towards HQ and vice versa;
â¢Input is given for the marketing and retail calendar.
As our new District Manager you will managing the store managers and various stores and shop in shops, with the aim to reach the intended goals and targets and represent the brand. You will also act as a Liaison officer between the stores and the head office, so both parties are provided with relevant information; be the lead for the designated channel/ portfolio.
Manages the various stores, such that:
â¢A correct execution of the retail strategy/store plans by store managers is ensured;
â¢Store plans are developed, followed and evaluated;
â¢Store targets based on store budgets, turn over, hours (staff costs), store costs are monitored and achieved according to KPIâs (conversion, units per transaction, sales per transaction);
â¢Differences in the achieved targets are analyzed and if needed action is taken;
â¢Guidelines, processes and procedures are followed and optimized;
â¢Financial records are maintained and financial duties are executed;
â¢A correct execution of the visual merchandise guidelines standards (window and in store) are monitored and ensured;
â¢Health and safety procedures and guidelines are monitored and up to date.
Manages the store managers, such that:
â¢Result oriented goals with store managers are made and performance is monitored and reviewed;
â¢Store managers are facilitated and coached in their development;
â¢The store managers are trained, teached and motivated to accelerate in: store performance, in-store operation and excellent customer service;
â¢The store managers are provided with relevant information;
â¢The right staff is recruited and hired.
Who you are:
BA in business or fashion
And/ or 5 years of experience in retail of which at least 2 years in a similar position
Excellent working knowledge of MS Office
Experience in store management is a must
Experience with monobrand stores and department stores (shop in shops)
Excellent leadership/ coaching skills
Valid driverâs license
