Job description

Total responsible for the set up and management of our running business:

- Sales and account management of the existing Running specialty accounts, opening new Accounts of defined target distribution in line with company strategy.
- Accountable for building up a long term profitable running business including a good partnership with all relevant national accounts.
- Responsible for setting up clear strategic country year business plans in cooperation with the Sales Manager Benelux.
- Creation and monitoring of strategic business plans; e.g. Account business plans.
- Responsible for ensuring successful integration of marketing initiatives/events/grassroots in co-operation with the local marketing manager; setting up / initiate and develop account sales programs and promotions in co-operation with the local marketing manager.
- Responsible for product trainings towards accounts sales staff and internal Marketing & Sales & Customer Service team.
- Capability of monitoring sell through reports of the accounts.
- Responsible for briefing of product requirements to the European Product Manager Footwear .
- Responsible for pre line meetings with the accounts and making clear reports of these sessions.
- Effective communication written and verbal to all departments both internally & externally.

Profile

- Proactive and creative approach to problem solving.
- Capability of monitoring sell through reports of the accounts.
- Identify business opportunities with each account and develop plans to realize the opportunities.
- Willingness to work weekends during events.
- Minimum 3 years experience of Account Management with proven track record within the Running Specialty business.
- Must have a hand on approach to all aspects of the business as well as being a team player.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Excellent organisation skills.
- Excellent communicator.
- Well developed skills on power point, excel and word.
- Well developed presentation skills – on power point, with product and verbally.
- Long term approach to business Management.
- A strong character with commitment and dedication to achieving company goals.
