Job description
Overall Aim
- To Manage and Implement Key Business objectives
- To Forecast sales plans and generate appropriate report data
- To ensure comprehensive Training programme is introduced within area
- To ensure CI Merchandising is implemented within account base
- To promote & recruit own Boutique partners (WBP)
- To control costs and ensure all controllable costing are managed accordingly
- To present qualitative reports of Client base (this also includes potential new clients)
- To ensure efficient Area travel plan is implemented and ideal appointment plan is met (min 2 clients per day during Forward Order sell-in)
- To ensure all brand promotional activity is communicated to Client Base
- Develop White spot distribution within Client Base
- Develop long standing business relationships within Area
- Promote Showroom/Roadshow Sell-in appointments
- Audit Consultant managed Accounts upon request
- Report Competitor activity
- To ensure all qualitative and quantitative sales targets are achieved
- To act as an Ambassador for the Company, and to promote both the Culture and the Brand
- To maintain in pristine condition the full range of sample products, together with colour swatches and marketing materials.
- To maintain and develop all the systems necessary for a complete record of every customer and their history
- To provide information to London on sales, customer and market reactions to products, and competitor activity.
- Ensure that up-to-date records are kept of every customer, relating to location, contacts names, numbers, e-mail, local competitors, total sales, prompt and forward orders.
Business Development
- To Forecast Business Sales & Product development within Area
- To maintain up to date Sales & Development reports of Area
- To present Business proposals to Managing director (including all relevant sales data)
- To Manage relevant Roadshows within Area
- To comply with new MobiMedia (laptop) order guidelines
- To implement training plan for account distribution within Multi Brands
- To implement Merchandising guide for Multi Brand & Department Store distribution
- To present regular updates on white spot development
- To research area for best WBP opportunities
- To record and Forecast promotional activity
- Promote Shop in Shop (SiS) concept within regional Department Stores/Key Multi Brands
- Develop Travel Action plan, highlighting potential cost savings
- Report requested Audit information in Excel Format
Sales
- To achieve the overall targets set for your area
- To achieve the forward order targets set for your area
- To sell the full range of products and to achieve the product mix in line with Wolford guidelines
- To maximise sales of all promotions and capsule collections.
- To source and open new accounts in your area in line with criteria
- To source potential customers to open Partner Boutiques in your area
Product
- To ensure that you have a complete and up to date knowledge of all products both basic and trends.
- To ensure you understand the technical and innovative procedures in the manufacture of products.
- To maintain and store your ranges in a pristine condition and show them to the best possible advantage.
- To maintain your range cases in a condition suitable for the care of a luxury product.
- To return in good condition all ranges as and when required to do so
Customer Service
- To ensure you have a good knowledge of all the customers on your area and their businesses
- To ensure the level of customer service on your area is of the highest standard.
- To help merchandise your accounts and to assist them with showing their Wolford products to maximum effect.
- To support and assist your customers with promotions, customer events and fashion shows.
- To be aware of your customer’s stock situation and to ensure a good sell through of trend products.
- To inform your customers of all press coverage to enable them to benefit from it.
Reporting
- To follow all company reporting procedures and timetables.
- To inform the Market Director immediately of any changes on your area that
may affect business.
- To attend Sales meetings and report on your Area as requested.
- Develop Area Ideal Distribution platform and update accordingly
- To supply the accounts department with monthly expense reports and receipts.
- Collate relevant competitor and Opinion Leading Accounts information
- Present Area development plan to Market Director
Profile
- Proven track record in the whole sales.
- A network
- at least 3 years experience in a sales position
- HBO level
